The Sailboat Club is an official American Sailing Association Sailing School. Take a course!

For less than the cost of a slip fee for a private boat, you may become a member and have access to unlimited sailing. Once checked out, simply reserve a vessel whenever you like at any of our three locations. Capitol Sailboat Club is an accredited training facility for the American Sailing Association (ASA). We offer Basic Keelboat Sailing and Members may take this course for a reduced rate. Upon successful completion of the course, members will be checked out to skipper our Club Boats. For a very reasonable rate, members may charter a larger vessel (27-30') on the Chesapeake Bay after being checked out for Coastal Cruising. Non-members may charter our vessels at our normal charter rates.
